for gyms and studios
coaching that scales across your floor
Many coaches, many clients, one platform, with each coach's clients isolated and the whole roster visible to those who should see it.
the friction of a floor full of coaches
Every coach you hire arrives with their own stack: one builds programs in spreadsheets, another in a consumer app, a third in their notes. There is no shared standard, so there is no clean overview, and when a coach leaves, their clients leave with them. You cannot see how the floor is doing without asking five people for five different exports.
one platform, every coach, isolated by client
Trainbase puts every coach on one shared standard while keeping each coach's clients walled off from the others, so the floor reads as one practice without anyone seeing data that is not theirs.
| a mix of tools | trainbase | |
|---|---|---|
| the standard | each coach on their own setup | one shared way to coach |
| client isolation | whatever each tool allows | row-level, a coach sees only theirs |
| the overview | chase exports from each coach | the whole roster in one place |
| when a coach leaves | clients walk out the door | clients stay, reassign the coach |
| cost | per-seat tiers that punish growth | $1 per client, no per-coach fee |
See how it holds at scale on platform / scale, or how the whole-roster view works on platform / roster.
what the floor runs on
A deep shared library every coach builds from, and one predictable price as you add athletes.

the honest answers
Can one coach see another coach's clients?
No. Each client is assigned to a coach, and a coach sees only their assigned clients. The boundary is enforced in the database with row-level security, not as an app setting that can be toggled off by mistake, so a coach's clients never leak to another coach.
Who can see the whole floor?
An owner or company admin sees every coach and every client on one roster. Coaches stay scoped to their own athletes. The overview is for the people running the studio, the day-to-day is for each coach.
How does pricing work across many coaches?
A flat $1 per client per month, with no tiers and no per-coach seat fee. Add coaches as you grow; your cost tracks your client count, so it stays predictable as the floor fills.
