terms

terms of service.

This page shows the shape of the terms we intend, so nothing about the relationship is a surprise later. It is not yet a binding agreement.

placeholder pending counsel

Every section below is a draft awaiting legal review and is not in force. The factual statements about the product are true today; the legal terms are not final until counsel signs them. We publish the skeleton rather than fabricate a finished agreement.

the service

draft

Trainbase is a training management platform: coaches run their client roster, programs, diets, and body tracking; clients see their own data and log their own work. These terms will describe what we provide and what we do not.

your account

draft

To be defined with counsel: account responsibilities, accuracy of details, and keeping credentials safe. In the shipped product, every user signs in with their own account, and what an account can see is enforced by the database.

pricing and payment

draft

Trainbase is priced at one dollar per client per month, with no tiers. The full model is on the pricing page.

To be defined with counsel: billing cycle, payment terms, and what happens on non-payment.

your data

draft

The intent, stated plainly: the data a coach and their clients put into Trainbase is theirs. To be defined with counsel: the formal terms of that ownership, our licence to process it in order to run the service, and portability.

acceptable use

draft

To be defined with counsel: the conduct rules. The obvious core will stand: no attempting to access data that is not yours, no abusing the service, no reselling access.

availability and support

draft

To be defined with counsel: uptime expectations and support commitments. We do not currently publish a service-level agreement, and this draft does not invent one.

liability and disclaimers

draft

To be defined with counsel. Training and nutrition guidance in the product comes from your coach, not from Trainbase; how that boundary is expressed legally is exactly the kind of language we will not draft without counsel.

termination

draft

To be defined with counsel: how either side ends the relationship, and what happens to your data when it ends.

changes to these terms

draft

To be defined with counsel: how changes are published and how users are notified.
