for remote coaching
remote coaching that feels close
When you cannot be in the room, a shared data model and the note you leave after each session keep the client feeling watched over.
when distance becomes silence
Remote coaching fails quietly. The plan goes out on a schedule, the client trains alone, and the only signal back is whether they reply. The relationship thins into a one-way drip of programs, the client stops feeling watched over, and by the time you notice they have gone quiet, they have already half left.
how trainbase keeps you close
Closeness across distance is not more messages. It is a shared model you both read from and a note that lands after every session, so the client feels coached on the days you never speak.
| the distance default | trainbase | |
|---|---|---|
| the shared picture | your dashboard, their screenshots | one model you both read from |
| after a session | a like, or nothing | a note the client reads next time |
| the client's app | whatever they already use | a companion that carries your intent |
| accountability | plans out, hope back | two-way: you see them, they feel seen |
| as the roster grows | attention spread thinner | the same care, at $1 per client |
See the athlete side on the companion, and how the care holds as you grow on scale.

the honest answers
How does my client feel coached when I am not in the room?
The companion app shows each athlete their own body, today's session, and the note you left after the last one, so the relationship is present every time they open it. The coaching is the note and the shared data, not your physical presence.
Do the notes I leave after a session stay private to that client?
Yes. A client sees only their own body, training, diet, and the notes you left them, and never another client's anything. The boundary is enforced in the database, not by app code we hope holds.
Can I keep the closeness as my remote roster grows?
The per-session note and the shared model travel with every client, so the hundredth feels the same care as the first. Pricing is a flat $1 per client, so growing the roster never forces you to thin the attention each one gets.
coach from anywhere, stay close.
A shared model and a note after every session, so distance never means disconnection, at a dollar a client.
